My aunt had messaged me a few years back requesting advice on what chromebook to get her daughter/my cousin. Being the resident family nerd I was happy to help and did some digging (I know my way around computer specs just not too familiar with Chromebook models). We finally agreed a higher quality one and it was a decent amount of money. All this is too say a year or so down the line (shes like almost 15) I come to find our my cousin treats it with the regard of a napkin and throws it around like it's nothing, spills shit on it like monthly causing it to be hardly working.

I would've shit myself if I accidentally dropped my half functioning hand-me-down of a hand-me-down Dell laptop at 12 let alone almost old enough to drive. I guess as tech gets more and more comoddified it only makes sense it'll be treated with less respect, but its sure sad to see.
