yeah this is a terrible idea the bank won't finance you without a cobuyer anyways, you don't have nearly enough income for a $500 a month payment (5)

This is false.Edit: I am objectively right and i'm getting downmarseyd. Reddit moment. (-6)

You want to spend 90% of your income on a depreciating asset? (67)

I did it at his age he's living at home for free there really isn't a downside to it it's not like he needs money (-3)

Possible downsides:- Paying more for the car in the long run thanks to financing/interest- Delaying ability to move out, or buying a house- Not having money available for emergency - health, car repairs, etc.- Not saving money or accruing wealth so you can afford even better things in the future - or you know, retirement (7)

Lol.in this economy your not moving out. Smallest single bedroom by me are over 2k I gave up. Enjoy living home and being single. I have a few nice cars and like being in the car community. Family (-2)

Terrible idea. If you're buying anything more expensive than a 3rd hand Honda Fit at this point, then you're making a mistake. Avoid payments, avoid insurance costs, avoid every compilation you can until you're out of school and properly stable financially. That may honestly take way longer than you'd like, but too bad. Don't set yourself up for failure over a car. (1)

Angriness: πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ”˜πŸ”˜πŸ”˜

Terrible idea. Aside from the money that you really don't have, at your age, going to school and doing the things you'll do, the car will get beaten up. You'll regret it. There's plenty of time in the future for β€œfun” cars. (1)
