how does one create a body politic? address a body politic and fill the subject (you) with the opportunity to participate in a body politic. at a place like rdrama, the body politic and meta-games are the point. 'Can't we just watch drama in a neutral way without the meta-politick?' well yes that is technically possible (a neutral or at least less biased viewing of human drama) but in order to do so you have to actually be good at examining group bias and how it emerges as a gestalt, a motion, of the 'hive mind.' By reading you are engaging in meta-politick because once you explicitly elevate drama...
And anyway, to put it more bluntly, if 25% of your readership has an offensive opinion which is expressed erratically, that's not dissimilar enough to a person who has a slightly offensive opinion that isn't disclosed publicly because group minds and individual minds aren't really that different. So to alter the character of a community, you communicate in the symbols of that community and take action on the appearance of the ne'er-do-wells.

The only true body politic is the interpretation of that mosaic by those that are not a part of that group that paint them as a monolith, as a body politic (or "mosaic"). We are simple creatures who paint the other as a whole, even though it's impossible for a group to be a monolith.

The point is not about whether or not groups are a monolith, the point is that individuals are not a monolith but we pretend as if they are. In this way you can only understand individuals as a hive mind, and as you do so, you can understand hive minds as individuals.
