Long story short, dude and gal go on trip, gal goes missing, dude bolts, big sub full of the typical true crime fans fill up for this case, the r-slurs here make friends of brian to support brian and some other wacky shit
Gal is pretty much confirmed dead I think ? Dudes manhunt leads to a) 5 other dead bodies from around places they went camping and b) brians stuff and partial human remains, so pretty much dead.

Brian flies home in the middle of the trip (from the Western US to Flordia) to "move her stuff out" of his parents place, not too long after a cop was called on them for being in a pretty emotional fight with brian getting scratched up and him apparently hitting her. He returned to the trip a few days later for some reason
Another couple at one of the sites who apparently reported them fighting, ended up dead
The van they were using is spotted on an RV cam in a really sketchy spot 2 days after her last confirmed sighting and very close to where the body was found. Brian was picked up hitchhiking in the area around this time, told them she was back at the van, but got out the car not long after being picked up inexplicably
The last texts sent from her phone are completely out of character, calling her relative a name she never has and telling her mom she wasn't getting service in an area they were nowhere near or had plans to be. Also she's an insta thot and her captions change quite a bit around the time she is speculated to have died
When he returned home (without gabby) he didn't tell anyone she was missing, acts like nothing happened which his parents do as well, and then they go camping for some reason. When questions start to pop up, they lawyer up immediately. He disappears shortly after and his parents say they think he's at some camping reserve
So basically, Gabby killed herself and framed Brian
