It's impossible to explain to conservatives why this movie is so bad. I tried explaining to my family that the whole story is a lie, and they immediately said that human trafficking is real and it doesn't matter if this one guy's story is real or not. It obviously does matter though because it's being promoted as “a true story that the liberals and Hollywood elite don't want you to see.” Conservatives think any criticism of this movie is somehow defending human trafficking when that's clearly not the case.
