I want to believe this, but I also know several vagrants and played on the edge of their lifestyle for several years and know that anyone who resorts to trainhopping is going to at best become an alcoholic teaching social sciences at a community college in twenty years.

The trick is to do it with friends or a regular travel buddy. You need someone to ground you to back home who isn’t going to start drinking out of boredom.

Also if you make friends with strangers you need that buddy to go hang elsewhere with when they start binging cuz if one person does it all the crazies are gonna think you’re a cop and steal your shit.

All the schizos and drunks on squattheplanet all ended up that way from catching out solo and trying to fit in bc they’d get called a kitty cute twink or have thier shit stolen or called a cop for not fitting in
