Fun fact: The signal American crayfish is an invasive species across much of East Asia. It is known for pushing out local species and destroying habitats because it will eat almost anything in vast quantities and breeds quickly. It also reaches sexual maturity at a very young age and will frequently be ready to breed soon after hatching, often with its own parents.
