On a couple private trackers there's an option to spend bonus points to "catch" a user. Somehow a user's "level" is determined and if you have an appropriate number of bonus points you can spend them and now "own" the user. It will display on their profile as such.
I think there's an opportunity for this to be fun and annoying for both parties involved.

When I was in highschool we'd have slave auctions for the football and wrestling teams as a fundraiser, you'd get 8 hours of free labor.
When it was your turn they'd call you to the stage and the coach would comment on your best physical attributes, like strong back, speed etc. Be really interesting to see that done in the age of the internet.
