Jesus is Jehovah so the words of Jehovah are also things that Jesus said.

Jesus said in Deut 22:5 “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.”

It's what the English used to justify burning Joan of Arc.

Christianity isn't a hippy love religion. You'd think the Jews would know this verse better and want it enforced.

Fulfill ≠ Eliminate

Jesus said "You know that Thou Shalt Not Kill rule? Well it's still in effect, but now I'm making a hedge around the law that you aren't even allowed to get angry. No Adultery? You aren't even allowed to check out women and think they're hot in your mind."

The NT authors force fitted OT stuff with new stories that didn't make any sense. Like conflicting prophecies say that a Messiah was supposed to be from Bethlehem and Galilee and Egypt. They made him be born from Bethlehem, have an escape into Egypt as a baby, then hang out in Galilee as an adult.
