Vtubers are great because they've mashed together the most insane and devoted flavor of weebs with the normal type of zoomer who watches twitch streams. I remember seeing offhand that one of these popular vtubers got a 50k billboard in Times Square on her birthday. Imagine saying anything negative about that vtuber to someone who helped buy that billboard. Infinite drama.
