The plot was pretty terrible and was more like Pocahontas in terms of how surface level it was.

Surface Frozen question: what does Elsa eat when she's alone in her ice castle?

Medium Frozen question: why is it OK for the trolls to almost force-marry Anna and Kristoff, especially as she's already engaged?

Deeper Frozen question: Elsa can magically create sentient life, meaning she has godlike powers. Fearing that is a natural response from everybody, including herself. There's a reason the Ice Queen is usually the villain in the fairy tales. Isn't the whole film lying to the audience?

I have not seen Frozen 2, on the rare chance it answers any of those questions.

Frozen 2 is basically a bunch of natives were killed by the previous white rulers to build a dam the castle is downstream from and both fighting groups are stuck in a magic forest that elsa and anna get stuck in. Elsa has to go on some proving quest to an ice cave to discover the whites betrayed the Indians (except her father or something) and her parents didn't just drown at sea. The dam breaks because of a golem for reasons and elsa saves the day by making an ice dam around the town.

It doesn't really follow the first movie and has a different tone with an out-of-place story youd see with a direct-to-dvd release.
