I just got rejected from Hudson River Trading.

For any complete losers here that somehow get an interview with them, really, really know in depth how an operating system works with memory, and know c++ 17 stuff incredibly well. Probably c++ 20 too idk

Every competent shop uses a variety of languages for different tasks. You're r-slurred if you build your low-latency trading system in Python, but you're also r-slurred if you write build and test scripts in C++.
