Pizza where are you from (generally)? There's definitely black people all over the rural areas of the South. I've met a lot of racists, and I've yet to meet one that thinks blacks are communists lol. It's usually: they're stupid, loud, can't behave, rude, smell, violent, steal, lazy, unreliable, etc.
The only people I regularly hear racists refer to as commies are the Chinese.

Ohio, but I'm just basing this on data, most rurals voted Trump, most Trump voters live in almost completely white areas.
The average white population percentage of a Trump county was like 95%.

There's actually a huge conflict playing out in the last geographical battleground: the suburbs. The GOP has rapidly lost ground amongst college-educated whites as they increased percentages among rural whites.
The suburbs have also grown more diverse over the last 20 years.
