Obligatory reminder that loving the sinner and hating the sin does not mean absolving the sinner of the consequences of their actions, nor supporting them in any capacity, nor does love in the biblical sense mean anything at all like it does in the contemporary sense, and also that forgiveness is predicated upon the sinner firmly resolving to stop sinning and is by no means unconditional without genuine repentenance.
