The DPRK isn't as much of a clown show hellhole as Western media (reprinting ROK tabloids) makes it out to be. It's certainly not a good place to live by any means, but the crazy shit that gets written about it is extremely sensationalized. It's just an authoritarian impoverished gommie backwater the same way places like Albania were. I'd certainly rather live there than somewhere like Yemen or Sudan.
