Hats off to Carp for the idea. Free post awards can't be blocked and it's nice to remind your favourite janny how much you appreciate her work enforcing Reddit's TOS across the world. Send a nice message with the award reminder her to pay child support this month.

Edit: well, I have the award now but I can't seem to gift it to anyone on AHS. I can only give them paid awards. Sad.

You need the app or new reddit. There's a coin icon at the top right and every once in a while the coin will turn gold (ususally it just says "get coins" but every now and then it says "award" or some shit).
I didn't know this either until someone told me, every week or so you get a free one.
