I got negative repped to shit for this in another sub but here’s the part I don’t understand:

Let’s say you have a black kid named Kenny who fancies himself a member of a loosely knit militia protecting his block called β€œThe Bloods”.

He’s heard a rival militia called β€œThe Crips” is going to be marching in his neighborhood so he goes on patrol with a gun he isn’t legally allowed to own to protect his neighborhood.

He meets this rival gang on the streets and exchanges words and a member of the Crips lunges at Kenny so, fearing for his life, Kenny shoots this rival.

Kenny retreats down the street but two Samaritans (one a legal CCW holder) have heard the shots and believe there is an active shooter coming towards them and attempt to subdue him. Kenny is scared of these guys too and believes they will injure him so he shoots them too.

Tell me in what US court Kenny beats all charges or how Kenny is different than Kyle?

It would seem like our hypothetical Kenny would have a better legal argument considering he lives in the neighborhood and didn’t cross state lines with high capacity magazines banned in his home state.
