Someone made 10,800 RWBY desktop wallpapers

With the news that Rooster Teeth is shutting down then the subreddit has finally come alive. My favourite post is the incredibly "A parting gift". Click the link if you want to read the entire thing, but the summary is:

• OP pulled together 700 RWBY images - a combination of fanart and official artwork - and turned them into 10,800 desktop wallpapers.

• Each wallpaper has been upscaled either through Photoshop or AI. OP then removed watermarks, removed eyebrows that are on top of hair (more on that in a bit), and corrected colours before turning them into wallpaper by adding text, backgrounds etc.

• At a generously low estimate of 5 minutes per wallpaper this means that OP has spent 38 days of their life making RWBY wallpapers.

• There are NSFW wallpapers too (of course) and even some 3D wallpapers.

Third, there is a thing which certain artists do - and both RWBY the show and some of the official artwork are guilty of this - where they will draw eyebrows, and sometimes even eyes, over top of hair. It kinda makes sense in the show, since that is 3D and you can generally see the hair waving in front of the eyebrows, but in 2D artwork it just makes no sense to me. So, I've removed it almost everywhere, either by truncating the hair or erasing the eyebrows. The main exception is chibi artwork, and a few other cases like this one, where you might expect the maiden fire to shine through.

This collection is by no means complete, and originally I wasn't going to share it until it was, but brother Zaslav has put an end to that idea. And at my current pace it probably never will be done anyway, as I cannot possibly match the pace of hundreds of artists. However, I am always adding new artwork. Every time I reach 100 new images in one of the collections, that collection gets updated.

The post has been up for 16 hours and is currently sat on 1 upvote and 0 comments, although I think it got stuck in the spam filter due to its mention of NSFW, so there might be life in it yet. I kind of hope it goes unnoticed and OP's life's work is ignored.
