CONTEXT:

Much of the only female-only factions in 40K, is the Sororitas, which are space-nun religious fanatics, whom operate as the military arm of the modern Religious apparatus of the Church of the Imperium of Man (the primary human faction in the dire 40K fictional universe), and are composed of ultra ethno-nationalist religious zealot space-nazis.

The Church of the Imperium of Man exists to promote and profiliate the worship of the God-Emperor of Mankind through any means or brutality necessary. (Yes all of this is directly plagiarized from Dune, don't worry)

At some point in the r-slurred and convoluted violence filled history of the Imperium of Man, many Priests and religious leaders co-opted the hyper propaganda and powerful mind-control apparatus of the Church of the Imperium of Man (referred to as just the Ecclesiarchy by in-universe characters) and started jet another Galaxy-raping and planets-burning civil war within the Imperium of Man, to wrestle propaganda control away from the God-emperor of Mankind (whom is basically a vegetable half-dead skeleton barely kept alive by ancient unknowable technology in a neverending vegetable-heck, by his own fanatical worshippers).

The worshippers of the God-Emperor would win this apocalyptic civil war (which is as redundant as the Imperium is constantly at war with itself), but made the critical in-universe lore change upon the Church of the Imperium of Man, in that no Priest or Deacon or whatever a planet calls their religious-overlord, may employ any armies personally, and that the military of the Imperium and the Ecclesiarchy were to be separated for all time to prevent the closest ever self-destructive civil war the Imperium of Man would fight against itself in its 10 000 years of self-imposed religious heck.

Fast forward many millennia, and the Imperium of Man is once again beset by strive and collapse and alien invaders, and our desperate buddies in the Church go full galaxy-brain mode, in their attempts to bypass the restrictions on the Church of the Imperium of Man, arming itself with armies which answered only to the Church itself - that answer was the Sororitas.

You see our Church buddies would go full Saul-lawyer mode and be like "the restriction on the Ecclesiarchy fielding private armies on this 3000 year old document specifically states we are prohibited from fielding armies of MEN - aka scrotes! Therefore we are totally going to make private loyal take-forces make up of foids!!!"

And thus we had the Adepta Sororitas

Now since its inception in the 1980s when GamesWorkshop basically plagiarized every single Sci-Fi media in existence, and yet somehow managed to cobble together a wholly unique setting in it's miss-mash of grim and dark edgelord lore, which was fricking edgy and cringe and edgy, that it somehow circled back into being supercool again, our Warhammer 40k setting is and always has been a primarily boy-targeted franchise

Any revisionist bullshit espoused by soydittors are to be ignored. All of the lore and toys and shitty nerd-figures and boardgames and novels released through the decades, from the initial primarily satire stuff about satirizing totalitarian regimes, to the eventually super serial Supersoldiers of the Imperium, through the decades all of the marketting had been aimed at boys

There was no malicious or sinister intent behind these marketting and toy (sorry I mean FIGURINES) creation was merely one by Bongoloid nerd men, making crap which they were personally interested in, and trying to determine what the international public at large were also interested in.

Even token attempts to market at girls would usually fail spectacularly, and thus the usual circle of one affecting the other was created the less chicks were interested the less GamesWorkshop (the dorks who own 40K) made any efforts to enfranchise them.

One of the more popular (with caveat) attempts to bring about a gril faction into the universe was the Adepta Sororitas, which while completely fricking failing to capture any female-attention into the hobby or universe of 40K, did though become popular with longtime fans, as the Warrior-Nuns did actually have interesting background lore and plausible reasons for existing as an all female force within the endless confines of the Imperiums endless shitshow of a bureaucracy

The initial Sorroritas were relatively subdued in their 90s art,

or alternatively over oversteriotyped in the satirizing universe of 40K

but as they pretty much became more and more sexualized as it became clear that no fricking girls gave a shit, and the GamesWorkshop pivoted to fully aim to market the faction to adolescent boys

The famous boob-plates became the norm for official art and fanart, and that's how they had been seen for pretty much 2 decades. Only in the last 5 years, as wokescolds have become such a dominant ideological force, aimed at infiltrating all hobbies and media and recreational groups, had such a nono idea of foids existing just to please the scrote-gaze become a point of contestation on online spaces and forums and comment sections all over

Now I want to reiterate that I don't disagree that chuds and scrotes bitching that fantasy women not being sexy enough isn't cringe, or that the moronic idea that the Adepta Sorroritas in the most popular and official art, are NOT in fact in any way fricking practical, and their famous costumes pretty much exist in hyper stylized, if not sexualized to look attractive, instead of anything remotely practical - even compared to the stupidity of Space Marines, and their ever-famous oversized Pauldrons don't look as silly as Sorroritas in their most sexualized depictions on high-heels

But on the opposite end of straggotry, is this newfound Leftoid Puritanism, which exceeds even that of hyper conservative Boomers, whom had tried to police all hobbies and media, during the pre-2000s era, when Christianity had a much larger sway in the west, before its staggering decline in places like Burgerland and Western Europe, the biggest consumers of 40K garbage.

Back then everything was anathema to goodness, Rock-music was Satan, horror-movies was Satan, Harry Potter books was pronounced as witchcraft by Karen Boomer busybodies, and their influence from Burgerland even extended all the way to Christian homes in fricking South Africa, for both blacks and whites. Video Games are famously the most despised medium by puritan Boomers, not even exclusively christians. And it is not missed by many gaymers, that the behaviour of modern feminist puritan busybodies have a very strange and bizarre overlap and similarity between the puritanism of Christian conservatives.

Now I want to again reiterate, that if you are the 1/ 1000 0000 chick who is actually genuinel interested in trying out 40k lore or games and shit, and you are dismayed that the only faction is just shitty eye-candy for teenage boys, that is entirely valid, your complaints of the over-sexualization is not amiss. But I believe there is a supreme difference between individual distaste towards sexist nonsense and hoping for a better less stupid representation within a hobby,

and this vile and ideologically motivated attempts by outsiders to deliberately change from the ground up, the consistency of lore and standards which had existed within hobbies and other shit prior. Now I usually take the piss when I refer to wokescolds trying to colonize places like /r/Gramdank, but i feel it appropriate after the constant bombardment by unambiguous ideologues mascarading as supposed fans, to change all aspects of a medium and its lore or whatever
