Poor - Poor is a fabulous word and is already funny and we should all be using the PHilton image for that word anyway because it's iconic.
New - New when said with a california accent is also already funny enough. If you say it like a gay dude it's also funny, this happens to be how I say it all of the time and being more like me is something all of you should strive for.
Gay - no one says gay anymore except the gays and we only say it like "the gayyys" because we think it's snarky but it's just tired and old, like our aging millennial selves, but we say it anyway because we are in denial about not being 22 anymore.
In lieu of calling someone gay, call them something far worse - straight. The word straight is basically a slur now if you haven't noticed. It's usage brings about thoughts of unwashed obese backhaired men and like...stinky skin sweat under moobs and old mayonnaise but maybe that's just me.

The thing is you really are helping, in your way. One of the problems with boards like these is the tendency to reward glib responses, because it's easily consumed and offers little room for rebuttal. It's why stuff like "no u" or "wrong" is almost always funny. It takes no effort, and by contrast makes any long response look desperate and try-hard.
But if we go too far down that path we end up like shitty Reddit default subs where the only thing rewarded is the quickest, most meaningless joke possible. And that ends up being really boring and shit in its own way. So thanks for helping to make this community a better place.
