Anyway, what we see is the leader of the conspiracy, Marwyn, is holding court in a large tent (as far as I can tell one of the few intact tents on the plateau, if not an odd tombstone - and holy crap is that a statue?) and he's brought in lots of his lackeys, as well as Arr and Avian.

There's a speech about how Arr is trying to undermine the good emperor, and while that may be partly true - he's had some help from the manticore, as I mentioned earlier - it seems odd that Marwyn hasn't informed his emperor of the manticore's return or … wait a second
