They don't realize that this guy got Clinton elected after 2 republican presidents in a row, like in the early 90s the Dems were on suicide watch and this dude literally broke that by embracing the center as much as he could.

Biden did not win because the preachy message worked, he won in spite of that. In fact, the preachy message was prob a driver in it being a closer election that it should have been. Yeah he's a smart dude who understands the game. Redditors (hard R) can't fathom that people may have different opinions on 25% of things but will agree with the other 75%. Heck even 50% is an easy get. But that negates the religious purity that Redditors (derogatory) require in a candidate. It's better to be a martyr than to lead a coalition.
