Tbh idk I'm white. I suspect it is quite common, but DL guys are usually probably into other black dudes from their own culture and demographic, and I have never been propositioned by any of them. But I am also heterosexual, and do not present myself as part of their culture. Rather, I am more of an outsider who just hangs around a lot. So it is unlikely that I would know, and unlikely that they would tell me.

I suspect that being weird and raping children is more of a rich guy thing than a DL guy thing.

I do not know if the rampant fatherlessness in black communities plays a role in homosexual behavior, but I suspect it does not. It probably plays a role in bad, criminal behaviors in general.

"Fatherlessness" has nothing to do with it. There's plenty of guy's on the DL who came from happy, loving homes with both parents present. Heck, my father died without me ever actually telling him I was gay. He knew, of course, but it was better for both of us if I just didn't talk about it to or around him. Which is probably connected to the real reason black men are more likely to be closeted than white men. Black people are more socially conservative about this particular topic, whether they're "Foundational Black Americans" or more recent immigrants.

"Democrat brainwashing" definitely has nothing to do with it, and the "generations on end" bit is hilarious. Do you have any idea how recently the Democratic Party accepted homosexuality as a normal thing that could be acknowledged in polite company? And the over-the-top push to have LGBT content everywhere didn't begin until late-2015, after Obergefell v. Hodges was decided and all the gay rights organizations realized they now needed to justify their existence.

"Basic biology"... might have something to do with it? I don't think black men are actually more likely to be gay or bi than men of other races, they're just more likely to be closeted. But I suppose it's possible that homosexuality and/or bisexuality are just flat-out more common among black men. I'm not even sure how you'd begin to study something like this, since any study would be inherently based around self-identification.

As for "what actual masculinity is and was always supposed to be", he's certainly not the first to ask, especially since we're talking about homosexuality. How homosexuality and homosexual activity plays into concepts of love and masculinity is a question as old as philosophy itself. Plato's Symposium has a ton of this, particularly the Pausanias section, where he talks about the difference between a man loving women or boys (Aphrodítē Pándēmos, physiological lust) and a man loving men or young men (Aphrodítē Ouranía, spiritual love). And the Aristophanes section explicitly raises the idea that homosexual men are braver and more masculine than heterosexual men.

There is no honor in men being raised by women. It is a catastrophe for society.
