I did not expect that twist. I mean I more or less understood it as: Carp keeps the social tides of masculine sublimated emotional frustration at bay by just bending them in interesting and confusingly mis-ironic ways which were definitely offensive but brutally artistic.

Can we turn our back on our fellow human being? Lost and misguided. Struggling to find a moral compass!

And that's really what keeps this place funny. A moral compass is necessary to orient the dramatic, otherwise it's just empty tragedy.

If this place lost its moral compass without Carp, then we should construct another one.
