Can someone explain what the value proposition of NFTs are to an absolute r-slur like myself? I've spent way too long trying to figure out what they offer, and so far the best I've got is money laundering. Maybe as a stretch it is rich people owning art but fully giving up on the "pictures exist so it really isn't that exclusive now" aspect.

Right now can any artist with some following just make a random profile pic generator with a bunch of swap able parts and print money?
