They are selling - commericalising and commodifying - the most intimate and personal experience humans can have, turning it from something special and personal of emotional value into a soulless product whose value is determined by supply and demand. If your very being and emotional connection to another human can be measured in dollars, theyre utterly worthless conpared to a normal human's.

Thats imo the core of it. Youre turning into money something that is so personal and intimate to the vast majority of normal people that it simply doesnt have a monetary value.

Furthermore, our morals and ethics are still heavily influenced by ancient greek philosophy about what a "good life" should be. And one dominant theory, and the one that made the western world so successful above any other culture, is that skill, proficiency, and ability are moral virtues that we should strive to develop and improve. With that comes that the more skill intensive a profession, the more virtuous it is. And being a whore - especially with digital video manipulation and cosmetic surgery - is literally the least skillfull profession possible. All it requires is to have been born with a wet hole between your legs, and even that is not your achievement but your parents. Whores have nothing to offer than their physical body, so there is no reason to pay them any more respect.
