Yes, one of my favorite things about rDrama is that the votes are public. It reminds me of the reaction systems on some forums. Anonymous votes don't feel as "real".

I check my votes constantly, and I like seeing my favorite users upvote my posts. :marseyupvote2: It's also a way to tell if someone has seen my comment. Somehow, I care much less about downvotes if I know who downvoted me. Anonymity sometimes just annoys me.

Edit: Kbin also has a UI that lets you view votes. Redditors do NOT like it.

I like attributed votes because I partly left Reddit over their whole "whoops, the mob buried your wrongthink" pattern. Direct democracy at the comment level is dumb for most of the same reasons why excessive direct democracy is dumb in actual politics.
