Just wanted to say that there is an impostor afoot pretending to be me. In order to counter this I will be changing my profile pic and name every other half hour. Please help me in keeping the tricksters out of rDrama. I am ghosting this post so the deceiver will be unable to figure out which name and pfp combo I am going by. A chiobu is Singaporean slang for someone who is addicted to the internet, often to their own detriment. Chiobus are described as lonely, rude, and often make up dramatic details about their lives that aren't even true just so they get attention on the internet. Chiobus are very fickle with their internet friends, once you no longer serve a purpose to them, they often turn on you and try to make a spectacle of you online to detract from their own actions.
The slang term was coined on an internet forum two years ago due to an infamous case of a "Singaporean" man pretending to be married and rich who ended up being a poor American man in real life. When called out, he turned on each of his "friends" and tried to post threads about them to the controversial internet gossip forum KiwiFarms using alt accounts.
So, in short, "chiobu" essentially means a faker or liar, similar to what the slang term "snake" would be in the English language.

SLANDER AND LIES. I "CHIOBU" have done no such thing. I am on rDrama so much because I am rich. You should look up the cost of chinchilla meat, and then realize that I own my own chinchilla farm. I have retired early due to all the chinchilla meat I sell. It also helps that I have enough chinchilla meat left over after I go to the market that I can feed all 30 members of my household so we spend little on food.
I like any man am not without error, but let's please keep to the truth. Due to your lies I am starting to assume you may be one of those rDrama tricksters...
