Obviously he knew it had to be done. It's a shame because Planet Money is one of the few listenable shows. Anyway NPR has what maybe 10-15 years left to go before it dies. All radio is going to die. Why listen to a shitty podcast with ads when I can listen to an actual podcast I like. And NPR is just one of many among a sea of left leaning "news" orgs. Once the boomers die who is going to send them donations? Get out now before it starts entering its death throe phase.
