I had a basketball coach in fifth grade get the whole team tickets to see our local college team, but when we got to the game, to our surprise, it was the women's team. He said he got women's tickets because they actually play with fundamentals, running plays, passing effectively, etc. and he thought we could learn something.
All I remember from that game was an absolutely insane amount of turnovers, horrible shooting mechanics, and sloppy play all around. It was genuinely just an awkward situation. Our coach didn't even seem to notice, which confirmed that this guy had no idea what he was doing. He was just some hippie douche who moved into town from Vermont who wanted to make a political point to 10 year olds.

In all sports, star rookies don't get their fair share due to pre-structured contracts. Caitlin Clark would get a higher salary if not for rookie wage scales and salary caps, but I doubt Biden's thinking about that.
This debate is only happening bc Caitlin Clark finally made people care about women's basketball for a few weeks.
