I've been on both sides of situation you describe, as a newbie and eventually a depertment head. Honestly, it sounds like you have underdeveloped communication skills and very low maturity, and these are causing the problems you've outlined.

This is what I'm hearing from you: "They should listen to me and respect me cause I've made a game before and they haven't so I'm more qualified and any pushback whatsoever is sexism"

1 - They hated the idea of working by a master document. This is bonkers as it's industry standard. Your response looks confrontational. When you have an idea that will affect how a WHOLE GROUP works, you need to sell it by playing the room. It doens't matter how objectively right you are, that's how people work. Approaching people for input first. This is corporate working 101, everybody learns this with an early frickup. Maybe this is yours?

2 - You mentioned MEN like 5 times. It honestly sounds like you have a huge chip on your shoulder about them. Some other guy is asked to present, must be cause he's a man right? If you think there is sexist mistreatment, make a direct complaint. I see so many young women not able to ever grow because they assume every loss is sexism, so never have the self reflection that leads them to being better. You pitched the design doc and got 0 support, clearly they're not going to ask you to fully present it. Yes, this is a skill, it needs a lot of work.

3 - You cannot manage up. You are complaining that your boss is coming up behind you and talking to you about work? Critiscising your in-progress work? Respectively, grow the frick up. It's the most common annoyance at any workplace. You know how I've dealt with micromanagers in the past? talk to them about it without emotion, it ended.

Now, maybe there is a grand sexist conspiracy against you, but probably not. If there are any isms against you it's probably ageism - people viscerally hate taking instruction from younger people. Reguardless, the above points will help your career.

You're being a bit harsh but I agree with the sentiment. We'd all love to believe that the workplace is a meritocracy where performing the highest quality work entitles you to accolades but that just isn't reality. Communication is 90% of success in any position, at any company, in any industry.

Yeah man. Group think and politics, it's 90% of that the job is. When I realised that being a director meant I was a politician, I just quit. Took me too many years. Working solo is so freeing.

It is always funny to see foids complain about sexism while using their womanly tears to compel sympathy.
