You're in a lose-lose though with modern wingcuck audiences and writers if you try to explore something like that, because if you don't toe the exact perfect line, you're also going to piss off the other side who will start complaining you're injecting politics.

I think a lot of people now don't even understand degrees of sexism, it's all wrapped up in modern stuff. If that guy was sexist, they'd want to modernize it more, and what is that? Have him get metoo'd? At the end of the day it's a product (art has generally always been a product) and it's hard to blame producers for just not fricking with it.

One of my friend pointed out that a reason she disliked 40K is because there is a gun on every model ( or almost ).

And the 40k universe allows powerful women in every single faction op obscene power: Rogue traders, Imperial nobles, planetary governesses who literally control entire fricking planets, fleet admirals, field marshals, and Inquisition women who are so powerful they make fleet commanders piss themselves.

These female characters are in political and military might many times more powerful than the homo spice marines

All of this was allowed with the 40year old exception of space marines and custodes, and this was enough for wokes to need to invest the hobby
