I kill them whenever I see the little bastards on general principle. Of course, I've mostly ended up stomping small dogs, cats, childrens, and Mexicans to death, but it's a small price to pay to keep myself safe.

I don't really get why you would bother, they don't really do anything. I guess if you have chickens or something. Someone told me their dog got eaten by coyotes and I just laughed, if your dog isn't big enough to frick up a coyote it's not even really a dog.

Use snares. Next time it snows go around and look at where they're coming under the fence. Put a snare there. You can buy them at any gunshop for $30 a dozen. I've killed about 100 that way.
