I'm so fricking sick of anything in the social media sphere. Tiktok is full of vapid, r-slurred zoomers who lose their fricking minds over some hot girl mouthing the words to 10 seconds of a song. The only other type of video on there are people repeating the same joke over and over again for about 2 weeks on end. At least the dog videos can be cute.
Twitter only seems to have 2 kinds of people left. The first are annoyingly smug they/themers who keep posting about how awesome California high speed rail is even though none of it exists. The second are Elon blowhards who can't stop bloviating about how he's going to save us all (that fat Indian running that stupid dogecoin account keeps creating really ugly looking videos about how awesome “X” is).
Reddit is full on soy central now. Not even the porn is interesting to look at. At this point the only subs I bother even looking at are related to milsurp rifles because at least the people there have interesting insights.
Is the internet just a lost cause entirely? Has it been so thoroughly normified and shitted on?

Idk about TikTok because I've never used it but Twitter and Reddit were ruined by the 2016 election. They won't recover, making everything political is a part of both site's cultures now.
I think as long as a website is large enough to be used for a campaign it'll be ruined by bots and paid posters.
