They went from 50 posts a minute about how this was a liberal terror attack to "guys let's not make this political" in about 5 seconds flat.

Based on what I read Broward school district/sherrifs office share the most responsibility here. Iirc the cameras at the schools were set 15min behind so that they could more easily edit the video/hide evidence of student misfonduct. Of course this made it harder for them to identify Cruz after the shooting which is why he was able to escape to McDonalds before they tracked him down. The FBI certainly fricked up too, butt thats par for the course with them
