china is a developing nation, officially. They sent men to the moon and make more electricity than the rest of the world combined, and build nukuler power plants and highways in other countries, but okay they're developing.
since they're a developing nation, they get a break on international shipping costs. this is subsidized by extra post fees in developed nations. which is to say:
When you buy something from temu or ebay that's $1 shipped from china,
you are dipping into your own dumbass pocket to pay the shipping, when you buy from somewhere else.
but in the process, you are enabling human rights violations out the butt (and up the butt probably) in chinese slave labor factories
