It's two completely different characters. They're both skinny women wearing the same belt. That's the only shared design element. If you really wanted to stretch, one's ponytail is visually similar to the other's helmet mohawk.

I don't give a frick about redesigns. Fiction is fiction, enjoy it or grow the frick up. That said, in all online discourse, things can only be the Most Good or the Most Bad.
The streamer who gets cancelled for cheating on his wife? He is also an abuser and a p-dophile and a racist and I think I heard he likes taking it in the butt (which is funny all of a sudden). These redesigns? They aren't just making a good point that i agree with, actually they're objectively good designs that no one could argue are bad for any reason unless maybe you're racist?
