Dihydrogen monoxide is simply wrong. Water dissociates into H+ and HO-. This is what the pH equation is based on, it describes how the molecule acts with itself and other molecules, and it also describes hydrogen bonding.
DHMO further describes it as a covalent inorganic compound, which it is not. Call it hydrogen hydroxide, because that's how it behaves.
