it's probably more about the speed and security of getting a place. even celebrities have to sign leases, which would take time

Also if she's in the midst of a divorce, she probably doesn't want to put her name on anything that could then be included in the divorce

How did this get 220 upmarseys?

C'mon a judge could award some uninvolved third party's property to the evil ex-husband in the divorce decree. It happens all the time.

I have a lot less net worth than $10 million and I went from starting to apply for apartments to signing a lease in three days. If you have $10 million net worth you don't even have to do anything, you can just hire somebody else to find you a place.

Sansa could afford a hotel for a week while she employed a gopher to find a suitably affluent apartment - Jesus Christ.

I assume it was difficult to find an apartment* up to my standards of luxury I became accustomed to while married to a successful pop star

Lol - also imagine only being worth 10 million after being a central character on GoT. Would have thought double that at least + residuals and would be set for life.
