Late 80s/90s TV is so weird. At the time there were shows like Full House, Married With Children, Full House, Dharma & Greg, Family Matters, and a million others.

All of them are objectively terrible, without question. But still you'd watch one or two of them because that was all that was on, then you'd kinda tolerate that one...and some people even got Stockholm syndrome and became actual stand for one show or the other. But universally, everyone shared the experience of fricking hating all the other shows that weren't among the ones they got suckered into. There's nothing different about the ones they liked versus the one they hated - they're all terrible. It was a weird time.

My girlfriend still watches Full House. I can't understand it, but I guess it's just pleasant to have on while you do something else like how I watch Always Sunny.
