However, I think it's salient to also point out that it's so much more rewarding and there are also a lot of benefits to parenting an ASD child. For example, generally, we're rules/routine-driven. Neurotypical kids...not so much - lots more sneaking out the house, alcohol, drugs, parties etc...most auties are pretty happy chilling in the bedroom playing Pokemon.
