The watermelon thing is really funny. Before going on the internet, I would have associated watermelon with outdoor BBQs and stuff like 4th of july. We always had them there when I was a kid and I remember trying to see who could spit the seeds the farthest (we always had seeded watermelons because the seedless kind are inferior).
