Most haven't gone through the process yet at Disneyland cuz of the time difference but here's previous discussions

TLDR: Disney's old DAS (DISABILITY ACESS SERVICE) pass was abused to heck once the parks reopened during the pandemic and became even worse once Disney took away free fast passes and introduced genie+ and lightning lane. People would make up excuses like ibs and anxiety so they didn't have to wait in long lines. Now Disney says it's only for developmental disabilities like autism

I have a tissue disorder that affects muscle tone globally. Without going into too much detail, my heart overcompensates its pulse when exposed to certain triggers like prolonged heat and exertion, causing pain across my body.

curiously doesnt mention their condition by name...

chagpt says this is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dysautonomia

ctrl-f "chronic fatigue"

>"In the sympathetic nervous system (SNS), predominant dysautonomia is common along with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, and interstitial cystitis, raising the possibility that such dysautonomia could be their common clustering underlying pathogenesis.[28]

>In addition to sometimes being a symptom of dysautonomia, anxiety can sometimes physically manifest symptoms resembling autonomic dysfunction.

The representative told me to use ice packs and cooling towels as well as bring a wheelchair into the queue.

"just pretend you need a wheelchair"

I asked if this is the same solution for conditions like ADHD (which I have), with triggers like sensory overload around crowds. The solution to this was acquiring noise-canceling headphones β€” for purchase, of course, so not an accommodation by definition β€” within the park. Other sensory concerns were not addressed.

I don't know who DAS is for now, but it's not for disabled people.

lmao, "but but but I get nervous in crowds IM DISABLED"

I can't stand crowds, not because I get nervous but just because they're a giant pain in the butt. The solution is not disability lines but staying the frick out of shit like concerts, Disneyland and Mardi gras type situations if you don't like that stort of thing

So another fat slob disease to mask that theyre sickly pieces of shit due to being so fat their body is killing itself.

Unspecified pain across the body? Incredibly unspecific "triggers" that just so happen to coincide with the antidote to being a fat lazy jackass? Honit soit qui mal y pense

I hate r-slurs pretending they have random diseases. That's not even a real symptom of ADHD
