It's not as bad as I thought. Yes it's terrible as far as the storyline goes but the cgi and acting is ok.
My biggest gripe is the way they're showing the weavings
For as "diverse" as they are attempting to make the crowd and cast, why are Moiraine's weavings all white?
Especially when the color and texture of the weaving is the real deal of how the "magic" system works in this story and I feel mostly let down about how they are NOT showing that.

The weaving is definitely not as well done as it could be but otherwise I'm okay with the story. It's typical fantasy fare and I don't expect fantasy anything to ever be something other than a soap opera with magic.
