Average redditor starter pack

I think Reddit skews more towards the "smug nerd" demographic. These are the people you see all over social media, Twitter, Facebook, etc., with their overuse of emojis and dramatic overacting, trying to be all "quirky and random".

God I thought that stupid β€œrandom potato XD” shit died out back in 2012.

That shit died super fast except in the most degenerately unfunny places like reddit or 9gag where the users can't seem to move onto less shitty forms of humor. Even 4chan, which literally has a place called "Random," hated it and would tell people to get the frick back to reddit.

4Chan contains a different type of unfunny smug shit, specifically degeneratly horny ones and edgy to the point of extreme ones

I remember thinking "random potato" was funny and quirky when I was 13 in middle school.

Anyone still acting like that 19 years later has terminally arrested development.
