by burger standards the French ultra right are like Bernie Sanders except when they say feel the burn they mean in the crematoriums after they've exterminated everyone who can't prove 10 generations of gallic heritage.

I think the main difference is that he plans to go further on immigration. iirc Le Pen claims that she wants to pause all immigration to France, Zemmour wants to go one step further and basically coerce immigrants and their descendants to "remigrate" to their country of origin. Not sure how he claims he's going to do that though

If I'm not mistaken he's also more economically right-wing, I don't know as much about that though

RN is a big government, catch all, right-wing party with inconsistent policies. They try to make everyone forget about their literal SS founders and their association with neonazis (within the last decade). They promise retirement at 60, leaving NATO and to stop immigration (whatever that means).

Reconquête is a smaller government, more ideological, right-wing party with a focus on Islam. Literally their first item on the manifesto mailed to each voter is "stop islamisation of Europe", the second is "Naval blockade on migrants" (or something like that).

RN is generally more cautious because of its now large and diverse voter base. Whereas Reconquête has a smaller, more uniform voter base allowing them to take more ideological positions.

For example, RN won't say Islam is incompatible with the republic when asked whereas it is a core tenet of reconquête. RN say they won't stop recognizing birth certificates from surrogacy (which is banned in France) or restrict IVF to married heterosexual couples whereas Reconquête won't shut up about it.
