Just affiliate spammer spamming reddit, but every time you google, you don't want "site:reddit.com" to be useless do you? But I'll copy paste the answer I gave the other guys here too.
Basically, Reddit is ranking incredible well on Google right now. What happens is that people take over subreddit and sneakly allow affiliate links on the post that ranks well on Google. It's actually big money.
Let's say you're in the casino niche and have a 50 % revshare on any new registration from your affiliate link, this means if a fat whale register on your affiliate link and loses 500K, you will earn 250K just from that single user.
So every time someone is looking on google for product and stuff, they end up in a reddit thread, once they are in that reddit thread they will naturally click on the best product link.
Spamming reddit is incredible easy because of 4g proxy you can buy from Russia, and 2 - 4 years aged account cost like 10 - 50 rubles.
So 4G connection + anti detect browser like Adspower + Aged account from Russia or Ukraine that was aged on a residential proxy, you can even get 12 years cracked account for like 2,5 USD.

if you're an affiliate marketer why arent you doing the same? i really doubt they're getting enough converting traffic for it to be worthwhile, would you run a legit paid ad campaign on reddit for your offers?

It makes sense. People go to Reddit to get βreliableβ information. For example, you Google a question about a product and you'll likely see a Reddit thread. If someone could spam their product in the thread or in the sidebar they could gain a lot

No, I would not run a legit paid ad campaign on reddit, however it's very different if you become the moderator of a subreddit and allow people to buy upvote in the comment with affiliate links, then just ignore that specific shilling.
You are right it's not profitable for legit product, but if you're an affiliate, the product does not have to be legit, hence the profit.
Basically, as long as the comments support your product and people arrive on your thread and see that comment support you, that should be good enough.
There's thing you can do with spamming that you simply cannot do with paid ads.
The most profitable niche in reddit is actually OnlyFans, and the guy that is earning 7 figures a month on that is RickSpanish.
It's really well known and reddit doesn't do anything against him at all, lol.

I guess i could see it happening but i feel like if it's just isolated to the coomer subs then i'm not sure if it affects mainstream reddit subs as you've claimed
the same could be said of crypto moonshot subreddits but it's something so niche that someone has to probably search for it and at the end of the day the victims probably deserve it

Yeah, it's isolated for a bit now, but from the looks of it and how the price for reddit upvote and downvote services keeps going down, I'm not so sure it stays that way.
For example on smmraja it cost 0.047 per 1000 upvotes, there's a ton of other SMMpanels now just doing cheap reddit services, such as subreddit subscriptions. From my research this stuff used to be a lot more expensive, now you can go on hstock.org and just buy a reddit account.
upvoteshop even has this automated, but it's more expensive, reddit.top telegram bot is cheaper, but it's all going so fast.
