AI was supposed to help us with tedious tasks and free up our time so that we can pursue creative and fulfilling activities, not the other way around.
Frick yourself art cuck. Art is itself a tedious task and thanks to AI I don't have to bother with it anymore. No one writing "good" (easy for tards to read) documentation no more having to try to pixel art my way to logos/concept art, no more fricking around trying to get UI art to look just right
A person built this. A person decided that it would be an interesting idea and did the work necessary to turn it from idea to film. Part of that work involved prompting an AI but that doesn't make their idea and desire to edges that idea any less legitimate.
Yeah it does. Using AI over people in creative endavours will always be less legitimate.

It does. It just also does this. There are a lot of people working on robotics and other labor saving AI. You just don't hear about them because they don't generate outrage like these articles.
We do hear about it. Usually when people bring up those robots replacing workers who only want to make a living wage.
That's what replacing tedious tasks means, unfortunately.
The most desperate workers take the worst jobs, obviously. So when you replace the worst jobs, you make the most desperate workers unemployed.
That's what it means under our current socioeconomic system. If the benefits of technological advancement weren't allocated according to the interests of capital, advancement might mean things get better for workers, not just more profitable for owners.
!nooticers I've noticed that none of these wanna be startrek commies can explain why society, specifically the ruling class they think have a death grip on the world, would let a bunch of useless eaters shamble around if there was literally no chance of them ever being productive.
