So there's a thread on reddit right now about the worst song lyrics and the top comment is Jailbait by Ted Nugent.....

Unproven, but I believe it lol why admit to this?

Ted Nugent started a relationship with a 17-year-old girl when he was 30 years old in 1978. Although the "Jailbait" singer once said that he got "parental approval" to date teenage girls, and a 1988 episode of the VH1 program "Behind the Music" claimed he became the legal guardian of one of them, we have not been able to independently verify the latter claim.

The lyrics of the song say the girl's 13, the mother is fine with it, and he gets arrested at the end. He even offers to share her with the cop.

The lyrics are genuine and from the guy who gave us Cat Scratch Fever, but that doesn't mean it's a 1:1 example pulled from his life. But it's Ted Nugent. I'd reckon it's not far off.
