i once tried speaking french to some kebab seller in paris and he sounded like he didnt understand me and got mad

i stopped trying to speak french for the rest of that trip :marseycry:

the next time i went to marseille and the natives understood my french so i have a feeling it's the kebab seller not integrating well

No, he integrated perfectly. The difference was that you were in Marseille, not Paris. Parisians are the worst fricking people in the world. Every single negative stereotype you have ever heard about both city slickers and Frenchmen is an incontrovertible truth when it comes to 100% of Parisians.
